Beau Rivage Golf Course in Wilmington NC is conveniently located just south of "Monkey Junction" within minutes to Carolina Beach, has a stay & play set up so you can stay in the lodge and walk out to the golf course and has plenty of homes for sale on and around the golf course.

Halyburton Park in Wilmington NC is located on S. 17th Street and is a great place to let the kids play, go for a walk, run or whatever on their loop around the park (I mis-spoke on the video the loop is about 1 mile long but I usually do 3 laps for just over 3 miles) and enjoy the outdoors.

This is one of my favorite spots to have a sandwich and enjoy the beauty of Wilmington and Wrightsville Beach. I'll be happy to buy you a sandwich if you ever want to join me for lunch.

Volunteering at the Without Limits Aide Station during the Beach2Battleship Triathlon was an incredible experience. If you've never been to an event like that you should do anything you can just to go watch. The determination, focus and strength of everyone that raced was simply awesome.

Sugarloaf Dune is an easy hike at Carolina Beach State Park and is worth every minute for a view like this.

Carolina Beach State Park is a great place to camp, hike, fish or just get away to enjoy the peace and quiet that the Wilmington North Carolina area has to offer.

The basketball programs at the University of North Carolina at Wilmington are fantastic. Trask Coliseum recently went through a huge renovation and here's a video of Midnight Madness as the 2011-2012 season kicks off.

Summer Rest Trail starts at the Port City Chop House in Wilmington North Carolina and continues west through the woods and ends with a spectacular view of the Intracoastal Waterway. It's a perfect place for a short run, quite walk through the woods or just a scenic get away.
